ALL THIS FROM A CHAT IN A PUB
One evening in a pub in London, pint in hand, an idea was born. As Jim Ratcliffe, INEOS Chairman and lifelong 4x4 enthusiast, sat in the dimly lit Grenadier pub, he hatched a plan to build the spiritual successor and modern answer to 4x4s of old. Built the proper way. For real use.

Complete also with flat hood panels sturdy enough to be a table, lookout post, or desk in the wild.

A request from Jim himself, made during virtual reality testing, and delivered in the final design.
Wide enough for a spotter with a flashlight or a camera, or a flamingo after a better vantage point. Really, we checked.

A military touch. Fit for purpose for when the sun goes down, and when you're in the middle of nowhere.

The vision was to create a 4x4 that could roll up to Buckingham Palace and not look out of place, while being rugged enough to conquer the harshest terrain on Earth.
CHAPTER 02
Tested to Destruction
Partnering with Magna Steyr, the engineering experts behind some of the world's most legendary 4x4s, the Grenadier underwent a brutal testing program.
1.8 million kilometers across the globe. From the freezing depths of northern Sweden to the scorching heat of Death Valley, and the punishing off-road trails of the Schöckl mountain. It was built to endure.
